Is there a way to get a library card by email or online without going to Abq? I live in Deming and want to access ebooks.

I can send drivers license copies or whatever you need. I do have a library card from the Deming Library

Thanks for the question! We do ask that our customers apply for library cards in person at any branch. When you apply for a card, please make sure you bring your current photo ID with you, along with proof of your current mailing address, if it is not already on your ID. The next time you visit Albuquerque, please schedule extra time so that you can visit the library and get a card. You may print and fill out a card application and bring it the library with you, or you can fill the application out at the branch, and staff at the circulation desk will be happy to set you up with a card.

  1. I was just writing to tell my daughter-in-law about what seemed like a very generous policy of allowing people from all over the state borrow materials, particularly ebooks, but then I read the real have to come in to an Albq. library and make out an application. A bit like holding out the carrot, only to have it jerked away at the last moment.
