what are electronic resources?
Answer
Great question!
We use the term "electronic resources" to refer to our online collections of magazine and newspaper articles, such as available through Academic Onefile, encyclopedias, available through Grolier Online Passport, financial and investment resources, available through Morningstar and Value Line, online language learning systems, such as Byki, business directories, such as ReferenceUSA, practice tests and study guides for the GED, GRE, ACT, SAT, via Learning Express and numerous professional exams, and live, web-based, one-on-one tutoring available via Tutor.com.
Each of these, and many more, are paid for by the Albuquerque/Bernalillo County Libraries and offered to our members free of charge. You just need to log in with your library card if you aren't using a library computer.
These resources are available 24 hours a day (live tutors have more limited availability), seven days a week, from any computer with an Internet connection.
Take a look, try them out, and let us know what you think!
